FarmVille is one of those games that seemed, at least for me, to be something that I got easily hooked on. But what I found was that I got frustrated very easily because I really didn't know what I was doing in the beginning and if it wasn't for some great people who showed some of the secrets of FarmVille, I probably would have given up frustrated and mad.
So what I thought I would do is put together this little info piece about 5 things that are a real must if you want to build a massive farm and to have tons of coins to be able to buy whatever you want. Now let's get into it shall we.
1. You want to make sure that you don't rush things. You want to expand slowly and easily. Plan out right from the get go what you want to do and how you're going to achieve it. Take plowing for an example. You don't want to start plowing your whole farm right away; you'll run out of money quite quickly by doing that. So take your time and don't go crazy right out of the gate. Things will work out better in the long run this way.
2. When you are planning any sort of a crop, whether you're just starting out or you've had your farm for a bit, watch the time that it take for a crop to mature to harvest. Let me give you an example. Strawberries take 4 hours till you can harvest them but after 8 hours they start to go brown and they wither away. If you know that you can't get back to the game for 12 hours, you should not plant strawberries. You will just be wasting your time and the coins it would have cost to plant the strawberries and then to plow the land again.
3. As a general rule, the crops that cost the most coins are not going to be the best ones to plant. See what most people do is plant whatever will give the most amounts of coins or what's the newest plant. This isn't really the best idea. The best idea is to look at what produces you the most amount of coins for the time that it takes to be able to harvest the plant. This is your coins per hour ratio.
4. Plant a variety of crops with a strategy behind it. Let me explain this secret of FarmVille so that it actually makes sense. What you want to do is plant different crops so that you are generating a consistent cash flow daily plus utilizing some of the long term crops that produce well for you. This way you will be getting some big profits while still generating consist coins plus getting great experience points.
5. Decide before you act what you're after. If you are in a place where you need coins, don't go planning crops that produce well in experience points and not so well with coins. And the same goes for the other way. So make the decision as to whether you want to level or you want more coins and then focus on that.
