Are you out of room for your animals in FarmVille? Do you have more decorations than you can fit on your farm? You can easily expand your farm without using any FarmVille cheats. You can turn your farm into a massive plantation using FarmVille's land expansion option. You will be able to maximize profits by getting upgrades.
Currently, there are six available farm upgrades: Homestead, Family Farm, Big Family Farm, Plantation, Big Ole Plantation and Mighty Plantation.
Homestead
The land expansion available first in FarmVille is Homestead. The size of this land expansion is 14x14. It costs 10,000 coins. You will need 8 at least 8 neighbors in addition to the coins. You can't expand if you have the coins, but not the neighbors.
Family Farm
The Family Farm is the next upgrade. You will be able to expand your land to 16x16. In order to get this expansion you will need 10 neighbors and 25,000 coins.
Big Family Farm
You can upgrade to the Big Family Farm after the Family Farm. Your land will be upgraded from 16X16 to 18X18. Either coins or farm cash can be used to obtain this upgrade. You need 50,000 coins or 20 farm cash.
Plantation
Plantation, the fourth land upgrade, expands your farm to 20X20. 16 neighbors or more is what you will need for this upgrade. You can either use your coins or farm cash. You need to have 75,000 coins or 20 farm cash. Using farm cash, however, removes the requirement for 16 neighbors.
Big Ole Plantation
The next size farm is the Big Ole Plantation at 22x22. You'll need at least 20 FarmVille neighbors to upgrade. 250,000 coins will get you this upgrade.
Mighty Plantation
The Mighty Plantation wasn't available until January 22. All FarmVille players can't get this expansion. To be able to get this expansion you have to be a fan. The biggest farm upgrade available currently is the Mighty Plantation. To get the Mighty Plantation you will have to have 30 neighbors and you will have to spend 500,000 coins. Instead of coins you can also use 60 farm cash.
It is important to remember that you need to upgrade your land in succession. You have to get the Homestead before you get the Family Farm, for example. You can't skip over an expansion. You will not be able to see the buy button below the land if you haven't upgraded to the smaller land upgrade or do not meet the requirements. For example, if you don't have the required number of neighbors.

Top 3 Tips For Expanding Your CityVille Population When Space Is At APremium
A large part of the challenge of CityVille rests on expanding your population. You can't add businesses unless you have enough people, you can't add community buildings unless you have enough people, you can't even expand your city without increasing the head count first. But you also have to have a certain amount of businesses and community buildings or you can't add more population. This game can be so frustrating! But that's why it's so fun!
Every day, tens of millions of players are fascinated with the similarities that exist between CityVille and a real city. It's just as important in CityVille as it is in real life to maintain a good balance of housing, businesses and community services. Otherwise, the population you do have becomes very unhappy.
But, like any real city, CityVille space is always at a premium. The quests are always requiring you to build some new business or community building and that leaves very little space for additional housing and decorations. How can you build more houses to increase your population when your city already seems too crowded? Here are 3 tips for expanding your CityVille Population when you're running out of space.
Collect your rents in a timely manner: Hover your cursor over one of the houses where you've already collected the rent. You'll see two numbers. The first number if the current population for that housing unit and the second number is the maximum that unit will allow.
Each time you collect the rent on your housing units there's a good possibility your population will increase. You'll know it when you see the little moving trucks drive into the area. You can increase your population by hundreds of people each day just by collecting your rents in a timely manner.
Upgrade your businesses: Each time you upgrade one of your businesses it increases the allowable population number, which in turn enables more people to move into the houses that you already have. Make sure you take care of all of your upgrades as quickly as possible. If necessary, ask your neighbors to help.
Upgrade your CityVille Mall: The mall is one feature that's often misunderstood but it's a huge asset when it comes to saving space. With each level you can move 4 of your existing businesses into the mall and get them off your city grid. A level 5 mall, then, will hold 20 businesses! How much more room would you have in your city if you could get rid of 20 businesses without losing the income?!
