The two currencies of Farmville are coins and Cash. While coins are relatively easy to come up with in the natural course of the game, as you get them for the crops you harvest, the fruit your trees give, and the various animal products your produce, cash is not so easy to earn.
You want cash because there are some things that you simply cannot buy without it. While you can play the game just with coins, without getting Farmville cash, you will not have a complete experience and enjoy the finer decorations and items that the game offers.
The most straightforward way to get Farmville Cash is to buy it with real money. At the bottom of the Farmville screen you will find the Add Coins and Cash button. Clicking on it allows you to purchase coins and cash with your credit card of paypal account. This can prove to be the easiest way to progress in the game fast.
As coins are easier to earn, I don't recommend buying them. Farmville Cash is a different story and if you have the money, by all means, go ahead and buy some.
However, there are free ways to get FarmVille Cash that you should also try out.
Leveling - The first option is leveling which is something that happens in the natural process of the game. For each level you achieve you will get 1 Farmville Dollar. This isn't much but it's something and you get it for nothing. Just one more reason to level up fast.
Ribbons - During the game you will achieve certain goals. Some of these goals are awarded by ribbons which come with a prize of some FarmVille dollars. There are all sorts of ribbons such as Green Thumb for planting different crops on your farm, Architect for erecting buildings on your farm, Knock on Wood for harvesting different trees, and so on. Each ribbon category has 4 levels and you need to be aware of which ribbon is the easiest for you to gain so you can work toward it. Ribbons will help you get Farmville Cash for free and they're also a nice thing to show off to your friends and neighbors in the game.
Offers - At the bottom of the Add Coins and Cash page, you will find certain offers that you can do to get free Farmville Cash. These may include downloading certain toolbars, signing up at various websites, and filling out surveys.
This is an excellent way to get some cash but it is not without its drawbacks...
- It takes time to fill out surveys and it's time you're not planting or growing your farm.
- The email address you give out to these offers may become a target of spam. Never use your regular address. Create a fake one at Yahoo or gmail and use that.
Giving your personal information to some of these offers may be tricky. I can never be sure if it's going to be used improperly. I don't recommend sharing your credit card information with any of these offers or giving out too much private information. These are the ways to get Farmville Cash without paying for it.
