Build and expand the Sheep Pen - FarmVille English Countryside

One of the most hotly anticipated new features in the English Countryside expansion in FarmVille is the ability to breed sheep. You'll receive two free, plain white sheep (not specifically Ewes or Rams) for free when you start working on your second farm, but if you'd like to jump into Sheep Breeding itself, you'll first need to build the Sheep Pen in which to house them.

The Sheep Pen is available to purchase from the store for 5,000 coins. For that price, you'll receive just the frame, which must be built up with building materials: 10 each of Wooden Boards, Nails, and Bricks. Most of you will have saved up more than enough of these materials in preparation for your trip to England, but if not, you can meet us behind the break for a guide on how to earn more building ingredients, and how to continue your work on building the Sheep Pen.

Once you build the Sheep Pen, you'll have a new building that can hold 20 Sheep, Ewes, or Rams by default. This building can be expanded twice, adding 10 more storage slots with each expansion, to a total capacity of 40 sheep. Both of these expansion require more building ingredients for the last, but remember, expanding right now is an entirely voluntary process. Once you have room to store 20 sheep, you can freely use those extra building ingredients to build things like the Horse Stable or Garage.

If you choose to expand, your first expansion of the Sheep Pen requires 15 each of Wooden Boards, Nails, and Bricks, while the second (and final expansion as of this writing) requires 20 of each part.

Here's a rundown of where to get extra building ingredients, should you not have enough on hand (or have used them elsewhere):

- Purchase them for 1 Farm Cash each

- Click on the "Ask for Part" button and send individual requests to friends for ingredients

- Open Special Delivery Boxes which can contain the parts you need

- Look out for wall posts from your friends that share excess building parts as they complete their own buildings on their farm(s)

- Have friends send you these ingredients from the free gifts page

While you can use your Sheep Pen just a storage building, remember that you can also use it to breed sheep

FrontierVille English Countryside - Expand Your Farm With Surveyors

FrontierVille English Countryside - Expand Your Farm With Surveyors While you may be excited to make the trip to the English Countryside in FarmVille, keep in mind that you won't be landing in an area that's as large as the Home Farm size you may be used to. Luckily, there are six expansions ready for you in the game's store.

However, this isn't a process as simple as having a specific amount of neighbors and then unlocking them with coins. Each expansion is locked to you (at least the coin option is) until you can collect enough "Surveyors" to unlock the ability to purchase each particular expansion with coins. Your first farm expansion, for example, is called the "English Homestead," and it expands your second farm to the 14 x 14 size for 25,000 coins.

First, though, you'll need to ask two surveyors to help you. Meet us behind the break to see how to add Surveyors' help to your land and expand your farm to new sizes. To receive the help of Surveyors, you'll need to think of Surveyors as your friends. You'll be able to receive their help by clicking on the "Unlock" button on your next expansion and then clicking on the "Invite Friends" button to send out individual requests to friends, asking them to help you expand. In the image above, we've moved onto the second expansion, which requires six Surveyors in total.

This expansion takes the two Surveyors you gathered for the first expansion and simply adds to them. That is, you only need to have four additional friends help you in order to reach the full six. This means that the feature is cumulative, which should help you expand just a bit faster.

Once you collect the needed Surveyors for a particular expansion, you'll be able to purchase it as normal for coins (which increase with each expansion, just as the number of Surveyors increases). It will apparently take 20 Surveyors in total to unlock the final expansion currently available - the English Estate - but we'd imagine the coin price tag will be the issue to slow people down, rather than the number of Surveyors. Still 750,000 coins is much better than the multi-million coin price tags we've seen back in the Home Farm, so I guess we can't really complain.

Repair and Expand the Horse Stable - FarmVille English Countryside

As you make your way to your second farm in the FarmVille English Countryside, having made your way past Duke's Bon Voyage Party, one of the first things you'll notice on your new land is the rundown Horse Stable. While it's great that Zynga has given us the frame of the building for free, it is entirely useless in its current state, and you'll need to repair it if you want to actually store Horses in it.

This will take up just a few of your saved building parts, or Special Delivery Boxes that you might have been saving in preparation for the launch of the English Countryside, but don't worry, we'll find a place to put those extra parts in just a minute.

Luckily, you won't have to do much to complete the repairs on your Horse Stable (I guess Zynga was telling the truth when they said they wanted the expansion to be new-user friendly). You'll need just 10 Nails to finish the repair process, as you'll see that Zynga has already added the other 40 ingredients to the Horse Stable for you.

Once the Horse Stable has been completed, you'll be able to share a free Gray Horse with your friends, and you'll receive one of your own, so that you Horse Stable never has to sit empty. Its staring capacity is just 20 Horses, but as with the Horse Stable back on your Home Farm, this can be expanded. In this is where your excess building materials will come into play. Note: Expanding is entirely voluntary, so save your building parts if you wish to build other structures, like the Garage, first.

The first expansion will require a full 50 parts to complete: 10 each of Bricks, Harnesses, Horseshoes, Nails, and Wooden Boards. This is the exact same setup as the Horse Stable expansions back on your Home Farm, as you will need to, more or less, collect enough building ingredients to build a Horse Stable from scratch just to expand. You'll be able to store 10 more Horses when this is done. It's presumable that a second expansion will be available after the first, containing the same requirements, and adding another 10 spots of inventory to your Horse Stable, just as with the original Horse Stable on your Home Farm.

Here's a rundown of ways to get more of these ingredients, if you don't have any saved in your inventory:

- Click on the "Ask for More" button under each ingredient and send individual requests for items to friends

- Purchase these ingredients for 1 Farm Cash each

- Use Special Delivery Boxes which will reward you with the parts you need

- Have friends send these to you from the free gifts page

- Look for wall posts giving away excess parts as your friends complete building projects on their own farms

If you'd like to quickly stock your Horse Stable with new Horses, remember that your gift box can be used on both your Home Farm and your English Farm. If you collect from the Nursery Barn on your Home Farm, as an example, and one of your foals grows into a Horse, you can take that Horse with you to England and place it in this Horse Stable. You can also purchase some Horses (even some English Horses) from the store. Your Horse Stable can be harvested once per day.

FarmVille Expand Your Home Farm for Free Rainbow Bridge

Apparently, the special snow treasures in FarmVille's Winter Wonderland did wonders to encourage users to expand their newest snowy farms, as a similar feature has come back to the Home Farm. With yesterday's announcement that all farms would receive coin land expansions (actually, my Winter Wonderland farm is still without), we've been given even more reason to expand our Home Farms with the arrival of a massive Rainbow Bridge on the outskirts of the farm.

If you click on the Rainbow Bridge, you'll receive a pop-up telling you that you'll need to expand your farm to 34x34 to receive it. If you have a whopping 5 million coins available to spend, you can purchase the 34x34 Exciting Expanse expansion and do just that. However - wait for it - the feature seems to be bugged for some users. That is, I immediately purchased the expansion after seeing the bridge on my farm and yet it never showed up in my Gift Box. Users on the FarmVille forums have reported receiving it for fine, but that it also may show up as a just a black circle.

That being the case, let's file this one in the "Wait and See" category. If you're like me, and have already expanded but didn't receive the Bridge, it's time to break out those typing skills and contact Zynga Support to see what has happened. If you haven't expanded just yet, I'd suggest holding off, at least a couple of days, to see if the issue is fixed.

How to Expand Your FarmVille Farm Through Neighbors

If you've followed my suggestions in my first article, it hasn't taken very long to build up your available resource of coins and experiences. Congratulations! But this is obviously only one of many, many parts of what it takes to advance swiftly in FarmVille. Perhaps your probably seeing other people's farms with all their animals, trees, buildings, etc., and you want some of these decorations and the such on your farm. But remember, these items cost you both coins and valuable farm space, so easy does it! Now lets get on to getting your FarmVille Neighbors, as well as briefly discussing the ribbon achievements.

Instructions:

Things You'll Need:
Patience, FarmVille Coins, FarmVille Experiences, FarmVille Dollars, Facebook Friends

1) Farmville neighbors are a very important and essential resource to helping in your game advancement, so you'll want to acquire as many neighbors as possible. The more neighbors you have, the more gifts you can give and receive to build up your farm, as well as helping to attain other bonuses, ribbons, and the big one of course, Farm Expansions! If you play FarmVille you know that it doesn't take very long before you run out of room on your farm and an expansion becomes essential.

2) ADDING FARMVILLE NEIGHBORS
FarmVille neighbors can only be attained through the friends that you have on Facebook, so you'll want to try to acquire as many Facebook friends who also play FarmVille and add them as your neighbor. Your FarmVille neighbors are displayed across the image bar at the bottom of the game window. To add neighbors simply click on the "add neighbor" picture to add more Facebook friends as your Farmville neighbors. Although they do not become your neighbor until they accept your request, once you send them the neighbor request you will be able to physically visit their farm as depicted in the next step.

3) VISITING NEIGHBORS
Once you acquire FarmVille neighbors you'll want to actively visit their farms to earn bonuses by helping them out on their farm and performing various tasks such as raking up leaves, or eradicating animals such as raccoons and foxes. As the illustration shows you can click on the "My Neighbors" tab at the top of the Facebook page while visiting your farm. If any of your neighbors' farms need help the window with the green link will appear and you can go to their farm to earn your bonus while helping them in return. Once your done click on the "My Neighbors" tab again to see if any other neighbors' farms need attention.

4) EXPANDING YOUR FARM THROUGH NEIGHBORS
Generally most people believe that you must earn FarmVille dollars to expand your farm. But this is NOT necessarily true! Although it is true that it takes $20 Farmville dollars each time you wish to expand your farm, and that you ONLY earn FarmVille dollars each time you advance to the next level, you can also achieve farm expansions by acquiring FarmVille neighbors! As the illustration shows, you can also expand your farm 3 times: Once when you acquire 13 neighbors, 16 neighbors, and again when you acquire 20 neighbors! And this is irrespective to the FarmVille dollars option.

To expand your farm once you attain the required amount of neighbors simply go to the "Market" and click on the "Expand Farm" tab. Its really that simple, and there really is no more need to wait on those FarmVille dollars...

How to Expand a Chicken Coop in Farmville

A chicken coop is a useful building to have on your farm in Farmville. Chicken coops allow you to store chickens together and harvest eggs from all the chickens within the coop with just one click. Unfortunately, each coop initially holds only 20 chickens, and only one coop is allowed per farm. In order to get your coop to hold more chickens, you'll have to expand it --- and you'll need the help of your neighbors to do it. Each coop can be expanded up to four times.

Instructions:

1) Click on your chicken coop and choose "Expand Storage" from your list of options.

2) Find your chicken coop on the list of expandable storage buildings on your farm.

3) Choose whether to buy the expansion with your Farm Cash or to enlist the help of your neighbors to expand for free.

4) Click "Buy" if you wish to pay with 10 Farm Cash. When the confirmation window opens up, click "Accept" to pay Farm Cash. The coop will expand instantly if you choose this method.

5) Click "Expand" if you wish to expand the coop for free with the help of your neighbors. Click "Share" on the next window that opens. This will allow Farmville to add a post to your neighbor's newsfeeds asking them to click on the post to help you with your expansion. You will need 10 friends to click on the post within a three-day time period for the expansion to work. Each friend can click only once per day. Once 10 friends have clicked on the post, your coop will expand.

FarmVille - How to Get More Neighbors to Expand Your Farm

You can be an old hand at FarmVille or a newbie, the fact of the matter is that if your goal is to build a profitable and quickly expanding farm, you must learn how to get more FarmVille neighbors for your farm.

If you don't know anything about this popular online game, chances are you'll be questioning why the success of your farm depends on you getting more FarmVille neighbors. The reason is simple, in order to be able to grow your FarmVille farm, you absolutely need a specific number of neighbors to do that.

Everyone that signs up for a FarmVille account gets one 12 by 12 space and your journey into how to find additional FarmVille neighbors begins. Your FarmVille farm can be only be expanded two ways. One, you'll be able to get additional land using your coins only if you have managed to get enough neighbors or you will be able to use real, green money if you want. But, in my opinion using real money would be crazy because it's just a game. But that is still a real option.

Wanting to make your farm bigger is expensive and will mean that you need to find more neighbors. Some players just enjoy having a small farm but eventually most people want to quickly grow their farms to compete with their friends and neighbors. So the quest to figure out how to get more FarmVille neighbors begins in earnest.

Why You Want To Start Building Up Your Neighbors:

- Neighbors' assist you in gaining more levels.
- Allow you to grow your farm more quickly.
- Give you gifts.
- Assist you in gathering coins to buy items for your farm.

So it goes without saying that your FarmVille neighbors are not just your friends. You need them in order to allow you to begin leveling up, obtaining ribbons and acquiring additional coins to buy things with. You're able to visit your neighbors' farms and offer to help them out when they are not on the farm. Assisting your neighbors earns you coins and experience points.

So, you might be asking how do you go about getting more neighbors?
- Ask your existing neighbors if they are aware of someone in need of additional neighbors.
- Put up a note on your Facebook wall that you want to add more neighbors to your farm.
- You can invite your friends to join FarmVille - all they have to do is install the application; they don't even have to play.
- There are also lists you can join of people wanting new neighbors
- just go under forums on FarmVille
- Just look for lists of people in the forum section wanting new neighbors.

How much you can expand your farm is tied directly to how many neighbors you have and how many coins you have. So that is why it is so important to learn how to add neighbors to your farm as quickly as possible. You have to remember that before a person can become your neighbor on FarmVille, they have to be listed as your friend on Facebook. So you will need to add them first or they won't show up as your neighbor.
