FrontierVille English Countryside - Expand Your Farm With Surveyors

FrontierVille English Countryside - Expand Your Farm With Surveyors While you may be excited to make the trip to the English Countryside in FarmVille, keep in mind that you won't be landing in an area that's as large as the Home Farm size you may be used to. Luckily, there are six expansions ready for you in the game's store.

However, this isn't a process as simple as having a specific amount of neighbors and then unlocking them with coins. Each expansion is locked to you (at least the coin option is) until you can collect enough "Surveyors" to unlock the ability to purchase each particular expansion with coins. Your first farm expansion, for example, is called the "English Homestead," and it expands your second farm to the 14 x 14 size for 25,000 coins.

First, though, you'll need to ask two surveyors to help you. Meet us behind the break to see how to add Surveyors' help to your land and expand your farm to new sizes. To receive the help of Surveyors, you'll need to think of Surveyors as your friends. You'll be able to receive their help by clicking on the "Unlock" button on your next expansion and then clicking on the "Invite Friends" button to send out individual requests to friends, asking them to help you expand. In the image above, we've moved onto the second expansion, which requires six Surveyors in total.

This expansion takes the two Surveyors you gathered for the first expansion and simply adds to them. That is, you only need to have four additional friends help you in order to reach the full six. This means that the feature is cumulative, which should help you expand just a bit faster.

Once you collect the needed Surveyors for a particular expansion, you'll be able to purchase it as normal for coins (which increase with each expansion, just as the number of Surveyors increases). It will apparently take 20 Surveyors in total to unlock the final expansion currently available - the English Estate - but we'd imagine the coin price tag will be the issue to slow people down, rather than the number of Surveyors. Still 750,000 coins is much better than the multi-million coin price tags we've seen back in the Home Farm, so I guess we can't really complain.

FrontierVille Cheats - Earn Every Big Barn Badge in Minutes

Along with the release of the Big Barn upgrade in FrontierVille came the ability to unlock one of four new badges in the game. These badges reward you with large amounts of XP, coins, and even food items or decorations for completing them, and luckily, you can finish all four badges in a matter of minutes (I'd wager under 10 minutes for the average pioneer, depending on your current stockpile of adult animals).

First and foremost, simply store every adult Ox, Cow, Horse and Mule in your Big Barn by using the Store cursor in the menu (where you'd choose to change your cursor to sell or move). While storing just a single Ox, Cow, Horse and Mule will unlock the first of these four badges, if you haven't stored 50 adult animals by this point, you'll really be able to take advantage of this strategy.

Simply enter into your Big Barn's menu, and click to remove the animal that you have the most of at the time. For example, say you have 25 Oxen in your Big Barn. Remove all 25 (luckily, you can rapidly click on your land to place each without having to reload the menu), and then re-store them into the Big Barn. The game doesn't make the distinction that you're storing the exact same animals all over again, so your badge progress moves on.

Repeat the process until you've unlocked all four badges and voila! You'll walk away with almost 2,000 XP, three Dinners, a 7 Course Feast, an Aluminum Water Trough decoration, 100 Food and over 6,000 coins! Not a bad haul for a few minutes work, wouldn't you agree?

If you've yet to earn these four badges through our method or otherwise, I'd actually take the time to knock them out sooner, rather than later. It's possible that Zynga will remove this exploit by forcing you to have 200 animals inside the Big Barn simultaneously, so you'll want to make sure to earn these badges before that happens.

Sheep Breeding 101 - FarmVille English Countryside Cheats and Tips

Horse breeding has been a mainstay of FarmVille for some time, but Zynga's other favorite livestock, Sheep, has been largely ignored. Well, aside from being the game's mascot, but no more! Sheep Breeding is the next big thing in FarmVille's English Countryside. Thanks to FarmVille Freak, we have all the details to make your experiencing easing into this brand new feature an enjoyable one.

Here are the most important things to know about Sheep Breeding before touching down in EC:

Breeding Sheep has the possibility of producing Lambs. Lambs can be named. You will be able to change the name of your Lamb when it's a baby or adult. Lambs will require that you feed them Baby Bottles if you want them to grow into a Ram or Ewe.

You cannot transfer Sheep over from your original farm to the English Countryside. Sheep Breeding is random, with no deterministic outcome. Offspring is based on DNA of parents genetics, but is not fully predetermined. Combinations of patterned sheep is in the thousands or even millions range! There are many, many possibilities for patterns and colors of offspring. You do not know what a Lamb will look like when it grows up. They are mysterious like that, meaning that if you have a Grey Lamb it could grow into a Purple Star patterned Sheep.

Males determine Lamb patterns. New breeding opportunity for farmers to specialize in such as a color or pattern. When your Lamb is fully grown, you will be given Love Potions in which you can share with your farming friends via the Facebook News Feed. Sheep UK FlagAs you can see, Sheep Breeding will be complex in FarmVille EC. Players will receive five Sheep to breed upon entering the game or fixing up the Sheep Pen. Breeding takes place on a Sheep Pen that looks largely similar to Pig Pens currently in the game, but with less mud and slop. Of course, the Pen has a "Look Inside" option that allows players to micromanage 20 of their sheep, but that number can double with an upgrade.

Breeding the Sheep is as easy as picking two Sheep and selecting "Breed." Once your Sheep produce a Lamb, you will have the option to either keep it or give it away to your friends, presumably through a News Feed post. The potential combinations for your fluffy offspring is said to be in the millions.

Use Coins, Decorations to Level Up Fast - FrontierVille Cheats and Tips

Leveling up in FrontierVille can be a drag, especially in the later stages of the game. Going about your daily Goals and other chores, it could take months to jump from one level to the next. But there is a way to give your experience a hefty boost, but it takes quite a bit of Coin to do it. That said, we only recommend this strategy to veteran players looking to inch towards the max level that much faster.

Decorations, while pretty additions to your Homestead and blah, blah, blah, have the added bonus of providing players with XP upon purchase. In fact, there are a few decorations that give up quite the nice chunk of XP. Here are three decorations that, if bought in bulk, could send you soaring to triple-digit levels and beyond in no time:

Silver Carriage:
Cost: 475,000 Coins
Experience: 5000 XP
Sell Value: 100,000 Coins
1 XP = 75 Coins

Silver Carriage Smoker Flowery Can Smoker:
Cost: 38,000 Coins
Experience: 400 XP
Sell Value: 8,000 Coins
1 XP = 75 Coins

Flowery Can:
Cost: 9,500 Coins
Experience: 95 XP
Sell Value: 5,000 Coins
1 XP = 47.3 Coins

These three decorations are all ideal for boosting your XP, but by far the Flowery Can is most efficient when it comes to XP per Coins. However, that amounts to quite a bit of mouse clicks. If you're up for the click-fest, buying 16,842 Flowery Pots could get you from Level 99 to Level 100, for instance. But that would cost 160 million Coins. Hey, we did say this strategy is for veteran players. Either way, give it a shot to send you over the fence from one level to another.

FrontierVille - Facebook Game by the Designers of FarmVille

FrontierVille is a new Facebook game created by Zynga, designer of the most popular Facebook game, FarmVille. Similar to FarmVille, in FrontierVille you create your own property, grow crops and animals and add decor to your property. FrontierVille is set in the old west, and your goal is to build up a thriving homestead and start a family. You will tend to your crops and animals, clear the wilderness and build a small town. The game is comprised of a series of ongoing missions that help you achieve your goals in making your homestead prosper.

From time to time you will need to go to the Market to purchase crops to plant, trees, buildings and decorations. You will also use the Market to purchase meals for "energy" that enable you to continue working your land.

In My Stuff which is a backpack icon, you will find your Inventory that you are holding, recent Gifts from friends, a Family Album of your FrontierVille family photos, your Badges for specific tasks, your current list of Missions and your Collections of items found in the game. How to Get Hammers in FrontierVille

As one of the top games on Facebook, FrontierVille has built an enormous following of players dedicated to gifting items back and forth in order to reach their goals. In the online simulation, players (in the guise of pioneers) collect items, build up their settlements and battle varmints. In order to complete a number of important activities, players need construction materials, which are only available through the in-game gifting system or from visits from neighbors.

Instructions:

Building Materials as Gifts

1) Click on the "My Neighbors" tab on the top of the game window.

2) Select friends from the list by clicking the "Add As Neighbor" button.

3) Interact with neighbors after they accept the invitation. The list of neighbors will be displayed on the bottom of the FrontierVille window.

4) Make a wish list. Look at buildings in progress or your current inventory to make it. In your inventory, click the box next to an item you have in order to request more. In the building screen, you may select from items you need to complete a building.

5) Post your wish list using the "Share" button. This will let your neighbors see what you need. From the "My Stuff" tab, select "Inventory" and the Wish List (with "Share" button) will be at the top.

Visiting Neighbors

1) Visit lots of neighbors, help them out on their homesteads, and they will probably do the same for you. Sometimes, when players visit neighboring homesteads, FrontierVille generates gifts for the visited player.

2) From the main game window, visit a neighbor by clicking his name in the bottom panel.

3) Help out with chores around their homestead, and most neighbors will return the favor, resulting in occasional rewards, including hammers, for everyone.

Tips & Warnings

Be sure to set up your wish list. However, for non-collectibles, you must already have at least one of the items to wish-list it. So, when you get your first hammer, flag it for the wish list.

Players can use gold coins, food and wood to purchase supplies and decorations for their homesteads from the Frontierville marketplace. The game also offers specialty and limited edition items through the marketplace that cannot be purchased using regular currency--instead, players must earn or collect horseshoes to buy these items. While you can purchase more horseshoes using real world cash, there are other ways to earn them without spending your hard-earned money.

Instructions:

1) Complete your Frontierville quests. As you progress through the game, you will unlock new challenges, called quests. Each completed quest can earn you food, experience points (called XP), gold coins and more energy. Some quests also earn you additional horseshoes, especially the early quests for lower-level players.

2) Harvest your horses. You can earn one free horse for your homestead by opening up the Frontierville market; click on the animals tab and scroll through until you find the option for horse. Click the image and Jack will send an email to the address attached to your Facebook account. Reply to the email to verify your address and you will receive your free horse as a gift from Jack. Start harvesting your horse every hour by feeding him, and you could receive more horseshoes. You can also visit your neighbors homesteads and harvest their horses to find some additional horseshoes.

3) Level up by completing quests, growing and harvesting crops, feeding animals and tending your homestead to collect more XP. Each level requires a certain number of XP--generally, around 300 to 500 XP to reach the next level--which you earn just by playing the game. Every time you earn enough XP to reach the next level, you will receive a free energy refill and one horseshoe.

4) Purchase more horseshoes under the Horseshoes tab. You can, of course, purchase horseshoes in increments of as little as one, or buy 500 horseshoes for a greater discount. You can pay via PayPal or credit card (through PayPal). Check the Frontierville front page daily or join the Zynga community to learn about special offers where you can score 15, 20 or up to 50 percent off Frontierville horseshoe purchases.
