Tactics can be loosely related to techniques or a set of detailed steps to achieve a certain advantage. This concept is very important in real life battles or war games played on the computer and on the board. Fishville is no war game but there are tactics you can employ to enhance your gaming experience and help you level up faster. Let us look at some of them.
Basic tactics involve raising the best fish to earn you the most experience and coins, and they are the Mini Dart Goby and the Sardine respectively. The former gives the most return in experience while the latter gives the most return in coins. Raise either one depending on your immediate needs. Another basic tactic is to "buy experience". Most items bought in the Fishville store give experience (XP) when purchased. This is an early game tactic and should be used as often as possible.
On the other hand, advanced form of tactics involve making use of various basic tactics in unison or simultaneously. For example, if you need both experience and coins, then raise Mini Dart Gobies in one tank and raise Sardines in another. By so doing you get the best of both "worlds".
One time-consuming and less used tactic is the "buy and sell quickly tactic". This tactic involves raising the Mini Dart Goby (the best fish to raise to get the most experience). But instead of selling the Mini Dart Goby as an adult (age/level 4), you sell it at level 1 and then buy another set of Mini Dart Gobies. This tactic abuses the experience acquired at the point of purchase for quick experience acquisition. The down side is this tactic would take a lot of your time and requires constant attention.
Hence, tactics are very important in this game. It is a fun game but if things get competitive, you would need to employ tactics to enhance your game.
