If you're into Facebook or are aware of it, you may have come across a game called Farmville. A free game, but, with millions of users, it has become quite a phenomenon. It has brought people together because of its structure. From a simple premise that you have a farm and you have to manage it. Straightforward on the surface, but, there is a lot depth that isn't immediately seen.
A strategy needs to be worked out as well as tactics.
Here's what I mean.
Initially, when starting, it is a good idea to split your crops into long term and short term. Even if you're already established, this is a good tactic to follow. It means that you're investing in your future with higher profit crops, but, keep your finances turning over with the right short term crops.
Another thing that is in Farmville are some very rare items, but, you cannot buy them. So, how do you get them? On these occasions, you will have to give a gift, so, keep an eye out for them, buy them and use them. It is always good to give, you never know what you'll get back in return!!
One other thing before I close this off is that a strong way to build up finances is to build up a coop with neighbours. Yes, neighbours are a great way to do this, and, if you go and work for your neighbours, it can be very rewarding. Also, it is probably best to play it in small chunks during the day.
