CastleVille Quest Tips

CastleVille is a very fun and addictive game! In this article I will give you a few tips that just might make your quests "run" more smoothly since we all know that if we are not prepared for the quests some of them can really take days to complete!

Quick tips and tricks

Buy animals! - this one seems like a no-brainier but it is wise to buy (a decent number) of animals as soon as they are available to you. Lots of quests need "materials" from animals and you can only get these when your animals are adult. Some animals take ages to grow up so better be prepared! Milk from cows seems to be really popular! Feathers from peacocks are a must too!

Stack up! - whenever there is a free farm plot (that you don't need for any quest) plant something, when you log of plant something that grows longer. There are some quests that need you to plant or harvest crops but most of them will just need you to HAVE crops for the completion. Not to mention crops are also used in crafting. Stack up on the material also (planks, stone blocks).

"Post to friends" items are easy, if you have friends playing the game if not there is a trick you can do - post the request and go on your Facebook wall, right click on where it says "send xyz" and click "copy link address". Search CastleVille neighbours (or something similar) on Facebook and paste your link on the wall of that page. Random people will click on your request and you will be getting your material!

Unwither crops this was, for me, one of the hardest quests for me at the start, the fact that unwithering crops will be in quests more than once is not the best either. Sadly there is no good way to go around this - you can unwither crops in Duke's kingdom but this is pretty much it - you can politely ask your friends to leave you a crops to unwither or you can buy your way out of this quest by paying crowns - which is what I do now.

Look through latest CastleVille posts from your friends - whenever you respond to a help request you also get that item. Some people post when they finish quests - these posts can "hide" rare items and materials that you might need!
