Farmville is a simulation game where you build your own farm with crops, animals, trees and farm equipment. Most people play the game on Facebook, although Apple also has an app where you can play the game on your iPhone. Farmville is produced by the online gaming company Zynga. About 62 million people play Farmville at least occasionally. To receive gifts and build your farm more quickly, it can help to have some Farmville friends, which are called "neighbors" in the game. With so many people playing Farmville, finding friends is pretty simple.

1)Open a Facebook account. You will need this account to play Farmville in the first place, so you may already have an account.
2)Navigate to the search box at the top of your Facebook profile. Type in the term "Farmville". This will pull up the game application and groups related to the game.
3)Click the "Like" button to join a group. There are many different groups dedicated to the game. Most allow you to post a comment that you are looking for neighbors and to add you as a friend. If you do not want too many requests, you may want to simply look for others who have asked for friends and send them friend requests with a note that you are looking for Farmville neighbors.
4)Once you have added people as friends on Facebook, you will still need to open the Farmville game application and add those people as neighbors on the actual game or accept their neighbor requests.

1)Visit the Farmville website and navigate to the forums area. You can choose to register with the site or connect with your Facebook account. This is an area where Farmville fans can meet and read about various tips to help you play the game better.
2)Click the Finding Neighbors topic thread. You will find a section titled "Add Me." Click that section.
3)Choose farmers to add as neighbors, or post that you are looking for friends for Farmville.
Tips & Warnings
If you are already a Facebook user, post on your wall that you are looking to add Farmville neighbors. Chances are that at least a few of your friends already play this game. When requesting that someone friend you, be sure to include a message and let him know where you saw his posting and that you are requesting his friendship as a Farmville neighbor. You don't want to be accused of spamming.
