How To Get More Goods In CityVille 4 Great Ways To Pack Your Silos FullOf Goods

How to get more goods in CityVille? I know the feeling - one minute you thought you had enough goods or even a lot of goods and the next minute you've run out and desperately need some more! In this article, I will tell you the 4 different ways to get more goods in this game - each has advantages and disadvantages so I will help you choose the right one.

The Train
If you need goods fast then you can go for the shortest turnaround time (only 5 minutes) but it will cost you a lot of coins. It really depends on how badly you need the goods and how much money you have. If you need goods now and can afford it, use the train. Otherwise, choose a different method.

Harvesting Crops From Your Neighbors
The best part about this method of getting more goods is that it is 100% free. All you do is visit your neighbors (you get free coins, experience and energy for this anyway) and find some crops to harvest. By helping out, you get 15 goods per plot done. Now here's the bad news. Most people in CityVille don't bother with the crops. Or if they do, you only find peas that need watering or something similar. Basically, you don't often come across crops to harvest which is a shame. I know this isn't Farmville but I expect Zynga will make this more important in future - they are always tinkering with the game to keep it balanced.

Piers
This is for those players who are in the intermediate to high levels. If you are a beginner, you just won't have access to piers yet. With a pier, you can have up to five ships and send them all out to get goods for you. You need a pier for when your city gets big and you have lots of businesses and franchises.

Planting Crops
This may not be glamorous but for a beginner, this is probably the best way to get goods. In fact, even experienced players still grow crops because there is a limit to how many piers you can have. The best crops in terms of getting as many goods for your money are peas, wheat and corn. Peas and wheat require levels 25 and 20 respectively (or pay with cash) so corn is the value crop available to all. But what if you just want to make as many goods as possible, regardless of cost? Well, simple strawberries are your best bet - simply because they come to harvest in just 5 minutes! The downside is that you use up a lot of energy this way too. It's only good if you need a couple hundred goods or so. If you can be more patient then the watermelon coming to harvest every 4 hours is probably a better bet.
