How to place a franchise in Cityville? Franchises will really help you to earn the big bucks so how do you get started with them? Is there a sequence to follow? What exact steps do you need to take? Have a look below and I will tell you how.
Step 1 - Quests
The first time you get to place a franchise is when you receive a quest to do so. It is roughly the seventh quest that you need to complete and you will be asked to visit Samantha's city to place a franchise.
Step 2 - At Samantha's City
Here you need to look for an empty lot. This looks like a square area of dirt with a double-posted sign stuck into it. If you are unsure what to look for, go back to your city and then to the "Build" menu. Click on the "Businesses" icon and look at the first item that has a price of zero coins. Now go back to Samantha's City and look for it. It is not so hard to find if you look again. Remember, Samantha is a default character that everyone gets and her city always looks the same. The empty lot is very close to the Big Ben - if you can find that then you should find it easily. Now click on the empty lot and you can place your franchise there. Importantly, do not supply the franchise yet. You will see why next.
Step 3 - After Placement
You have placed your franchise but it is very important to do the next steps properly. As part of this quest, you now have to build your HQ and then supply your franchise. Building the HQ is easy. Just go to your inventory (back in your own city) and you will see your business type (e.g. Seafood Restaurant) waiting for you to click on it and place it. Do that and then finish the construction.
Your final task is to supply the franchise. Click on your HQ and there should be a "Supply" button there. When I originally did this quest, I somehow managed to supply my franchise already and before I was asked to. This meant I had to wait a full 24 hours for resupply before I could complete the quest! So don't make the same mistake that I made.
