There's a new game on Facebook called FarmVille and if your into games this ones going to blow your socks off. Your mission in FarmVille is to build a virtual farm by plowing, seeding and harvesting your crops. There are several methods to building and maintaining the ultimate farm but be prepared to use some strategy and careful planning.
The great thing about this game is that it's played on Facebook so you can get all your friends involved and be neighbors. Neighbors help each other out and you can rack up your xp (experience) points by doing it.
As far as building the farm, it basically comes down to how wild and crazy you want to get. The choices are endless. You can live in a cottage or a plantation, of course the plantation requires you to be quite a few levels higher in the game.
We start by plowing our land, once plowed we go to the market to purchase our seeds. Take into consideration when you buy the seeds when they will be ready to harvest, you don't want to have something that will be ready in four hours if you're not going to be back for eight. They will wilt and die and you will have wasted the coins you used to purchase your seeds. You get the idea! Our desire is to have the best farm in FarmVille!
As you gain xp points you climb in levels, for instance, at level 5 you only need 200 points. At level 15 you need 4500 but we want to climb all the way to level 70. So as you can see there's much to do.
There are many seeds to choose from, as well as trees, animals, vehicles, buildings etc.. all give you xp points which help you to level up in the game. I don't have enough room in this article to name all of the decorations you can get to deck the place out. Things like a hot air balloon or a barbeque or maybe a pond with a fountain in the middle!
You can even win ribbons, such as a good Samaritan for visiting and helping out 20 neighbors. If your good with a camera take pictures of 3 farms and get the shutterbug ribbon along with 500 coins and 10 xp points.
No farm is complete without the animals you can have cows, chickens and horses just to name a few and you might want a cat to keep the mice out of the barn. Just listening to the horse whinny or the chickens clucking makes you think you're really on a farm.
Whether you have a small farm or an enormous one your bound to have a great time playing this game!
