Pet Cash is the currency used to purchase virtual items from the premium store in the Facebook game PetVille. Some items in the premium store are unobtainable unless you have Pet Cash. Pet Cash is sold by Zynga starting at 12 Pet Cash for a dollar (the more you buy, the cheaper it becomes per dollar). Some will purchase Pet Cash when they see a particular item they desire, however it is possible to earn Pet Cash for free without cheating.

1)Log into Facebook. Navigate to the PetVille application. Choose a neighbor located at the bottom of the screen. Click "Visit."
2)Look for a treasure box. Scroll through the room using the left and right arrow buttons. If you see a treasure box, click on it to open it. If not, move on to the next neighbor.
3)Continue looking for treasure boxes by moving from neighbor to neighbor. They will usually contain coins or a lost toy to share with others, however the third one opened will contain one PetVille cash. Obtain this cash every 24 hours by repeating this process.
4)Talk to your friends who also play PetVille. Request that they send you Mystery Gifts. They can contain many different items, including one to two Pet Cash.
Earn Cash with Free Activities
1)Log into Facebook. Navigate to the PetVille application. Click on the "Get Pet Coins & Cash" tab located above the game window in the right hand corner. It is the last tab.
2)Scroll to the bottom of the page, past the purchasing options. Locate the section titled "Earn PetVille Cash!"
3)Click on the first activity available. A new window will open. There are not always activities available, so check back daily.
4)Follow the directions to earn the Pet Cash. Typically, you will watch a short video and answer a question, or post a comment to your Facebook wall. Each activity can earn you between three and 15 Pet Cash.
Fans, Twitter, Contests and Giveaways
1) Log into Facebook. Navigate to the PetVille application. Click on the tab "Fan Page" located in the middle above the game window. This will redirect you to the PetVille fan page.
2) Click on "Like" at the top of the page, located to the right of "PetVille." Zynga frequently gives away free Pet Cash, and will post a link in their feed to receive the Pet Cash. Becoming a fan will allow you to see these posts.
3) Navigate to the Twitter homepage. Ensure you are signed in. Click on "Find People" located in the upper right hand corner.
4) Type "PetVille" in the empty white text field. Click on "Search." The official PetVille Twitter will be the first on the list. Click on the follow icon. Zynga will periodically provide links for free Pet Cash to its Twitter followers.
5) Navigate to the Zynga homepage. Hover over the "Forums" tab with the mouse. Click on "PetVille" from the drop down menu. Click on "News and Information." Zynga will frequently post decoration and design contests here and give away Pet Cash to the winners. They will also occasionally hold random giveaways and the directions for entering will be posted here.
Tips & Warnings
Save your Pet Cash for something you really want. Although it is easy to obtain through many different methods, many of these methods involve chance or rely on the whims of Zynga.
If you do not wish to become a fan of PetVille, or follow them on Twitter, you can just navigate to the respective pages on daily basis to view the news and updates.
Be wary of links or applications advertising free Pet Cash, or easy Pet Cash. If it is not officially provided by or sponsored by the developer, Zynga, it is likely a scam or malware.
