PetVille" is a gaming application on Facebook used to raise virtual pets. Users can dress and care for their make-believe animals, as well as interact with Facebook friends and their pets. If you no longer want to play "PetVille," removing the application ensures that it no longer has access to your profile data. When you remove "PetVille," all traces of it are immediately deleted from your Facebook account.
Instructions:
1) Click on the "Account" link in the top-right corner of any Facebook page and choose "Privacy Settings" from the drop-down menu.
2) Scroll down to the bottom of the "Privacy Settings" menu and click on the "Edit your settings" link in the "Apps and Websites" section.
3) Click the "Edit Settings" button in the "Apps you use" section.
4) Locate "PetVille" in the list of your apps, which are sorted by date of last use. The apps you have used most recently are at the top of the page.
5) Click on the "x" to the far right of the "PetVille" line and then click the blue "Remove" button. Click "Okay" when prompted.
