In the Facebook application "Petville," you to care for a pet while maintaining a home and socializing with neighbors. The application includes many activities, including feeding, clothing and interacting with your pet, visiting and assisting neighbors, and playing the "Genie Gems" minigame, which can reward PetCash, coins and objects for your pet. To play the minigame, you must have a genie lamp, which is only obtainable through gifts from fellow "Petville" players. To send genie lamps as a gift, post a request to your Facebook News feed page.
Instructions:
1) Log in to your Facebook account and click the "Petville" shortcut on the left column of your Facebook News feed page. The link is located under the "Applications" heading. If the shortcut does not appear automatically, click the "More" button to expand your application list.
2) Click the "Genie Gems" button on your user interface. This button has a picture of a genie lamp. If you currently have genie lamps, the "Genie Gems" minigame appears automatically on your screen. Click the "Get Lamps" button in the upper right corner to open the request dialog box.
3) Click the "Request and Share" button or the "Ask for Lamps and Share Bonus" button to post a request on your Facebook News feed page. Friends that respond to your request will also receive a genie lamp as a gift.
