Though many of your Facebook friends may enjoy playing the FarmVille application that they have downloaded to their accounts, you might not enjoy having your News Feed page littered with posts related to their FarmVille exploits. Instead of un-friending your FarmVille-playing friends, you can edit your Facebook settings to no longer display these sorts of posts. This way, your friends can still enjoy their game without bothering you.
Instructions:
1) Browse to the Facebook homepage and log in to your account with your email address and Facebook password.
2) Scroll through your News Feed page until you find a FarmVille post created by one of your Facebook friends.
3) Hover your mouse cursor over the FarmVille post and wait for the "X" icon to appear on the upper-right side of the post.
4) Click the "X" icon to load a drop-down menu. Click "Hide FarmVille," which will remove Farmville posts but still show status updates from your friends who play the game.
Tips & Warnings
When you block FarmVille posts from appearing on your News Feed, Facebook does so privately. Your friends won't receive a notification saying their FarmVille-related posts have been blocked, so you don't have to worry about offending them.
