When a Facebook user only wants to view his friends' status updates on the News Feed, Farmville updates can be distracting and annoying. Facebook for Android does not allow users to edit the type of posts featured on the News Feed directly on the Android, but a user can edit her News Feed on Facebook by using a computer. Changes that are made to a News Feed will also be applied to the user's account when viewed on Facebook for Android.
Instructions:
1) Log in to Facebook on a computer.
2) Locate a Farmville post on your News Feed.
3) Click the arrow tab located to the far right of the post's heading to reveal the drop-down options menu. Select the option to unsubscribe from Farmville updates. You will no longer see any Farmville updates by any Facebook friend on your News Feed in Facebook or Facebook for Android.
