When you're playing "FarmVille" on Facebook, one of the main goals is to get the most money out of the available land. If you're going to raise chickens, avoid the plain white ones as much as possible and concentrate on the fancier ones to get more coins when you harvest. The golden chicken is the premium bird, giving you eight times the coins that a normal white chicken does. Golden chickens aren't in the marketplace; you'll have to find them while playing the game.
Instructions:
1) Navigate to Facebook and log on to your "FarmVille" game.
2) Purchase a chicken coop and place it on your farm.
3) Click on each chicken you own and choose the option to "Move" the chicken. Drag each chicken on top of the chicken coop. This will install the chickens inside the coop. Place chickens of many colors into the coop. An all-white chicken coop will not allow you to find golden chickens. Purchase chickens in the marketplace if you don't have any on your farm.
4) Harvest your chicken coop each day. Chickens in the coop will randomly produce "Mystery Eggs." These eggs will appear in your gift box after you find them. You also have the option of sharing additional Mystery Eggs with your neighbors by posting them on your Facebook wall.
5) Go to your gift box and click on the mystery egg to open it. You will receive a random gift and some of the gifts will be golden chickens.
6) Check your Facebook wall regularly to find out which "FarmVille" friends are sharing Mystery Eggs. Click on the offer to share the egg when you find one. Open the egg from your gift box to find out if you get a golden chicken.
