Every time you harvest your crops now, you receive bushels, a bit like the flower marker where you get bunches of flowers for planting and then harvesting crops flowers. You won't be able to get bushels from your limited edition crops however so if you are keen on joining Farmers Market keep in mind that they need to be permanent crops. As soon as you get your first bushel a screen will pop up asking you to place on your farm somewhere a Farmers Market stall, these are where you will store bushels to sell and store and use to gain mastery points.
The best thing to do is get bushels of the crop you are currently growing, if you don't already have some. Then before you harvest the crop, go to the market and click on "My Bushels" and click on "use" the same type of bushel that you are going to harvest. After that you will gain extra mastery points for that particular crop. If you don't have the bushels in store, all you do is go to friends markets and get them from there. This will give your friends bonus fuel or coins or experience points (XP). If neighbours get bushels from you, you will receive a bonus just once and choose which bonus you want, XP, coins, fuel. Even if ten people buy from you, you can only get the bonus once per day.
If you require an additional market stall you can purchase one for 50,000 coins if you have enough neighbours. The more stalls you buy the more neighbours you will need. Each stall can sell one particular crop only. Bushels will automatically be placed in your stalls as you harvest and after a pop up will state what you have to sell for how long (24 hours, unless you have a mastery star if higher than 1 and then it will go up to 40 hours), and ask if you wish to share these with others.
You can collect bushels from others in your stall under Get Bushels as well as your own harvested bushels under My Bushels. When you plant and harvest a crop and you don't have a particular crop to use as a mastery bonus, this is where your neighbours come in handy. You can take three lots of bushels only at a time until 24 hours is up. You can hold up to 50 bushels in your market stall. If you require space for varied crop bushels you can share any of two or more with your neighbours and gain the same via them through your feed.
This is another entertaining aspect of the FarmVille online game and with good FarmVille strategies you can do well from it and get your mastery points climbing higher and naturally benefit from all the pro's of that as well as the extras through Farmers Market. It also keeps the game interesting.
