With FarmVille's more than 60 million users -- a number reported by "The Guardian" in May 2011 -- it's likely that at least one person on your Facebook friends' list plays the game. When people sign up for FarmVille, they agree to let the game post status updates to their wall. These updates also display on their friends' news feeds. You might find the game updates annoying if you don't play the game. You can block the updates whenever you want.
Instructions:
1) Log in to your Facebook account.
2) Scroll through your news feed to find a FarmVille post and move your cursor over the post.
3) Click "X" in the upper right corner of the FarmVille post.
4) Click "Hide all by FarmVille."
