FarmVille" is one of the most popular Facebook applications in use today: More than 32 million people play "FarmVille" every day as of 2010, according to Gamasutra. While "FarmVille" players may learn the basics of the game fairly quickly thanks to the simple gameplay rules, earning the in-game currency can be a bit more complicated. "FarmVille" has two types of currency: coins, which you earn for most tasks such as crop harvesting and selling goods, and Farm Cash, which you earn only for very specific accomplishments or actions. While Farm Cash is fairly hard to come by in comparison to coins, you can increase your Farm Cash balance with some knowledge and planning.
Instructions:
1)Log in to your "FarmVille" account on Farmville.com or at Facebook.
2)Look at the Farm Cash balance in the upper left corner of the game screen. This is your current balance, which you must be aware of so that you can make sure your future Farm Cash is applied to your account.
3)Play "FarmVille" with a focus on activities that quickly increase your experience points (XP.) These activities normally include harvesting crops and purchasing items in the marketplace. Plant crops that return high levels of XP such as peas and soybeans and make purchases such as buildings that return high XP.
XP levels are important in obtaining Farm Cash because you need XP to advance from one level to the next. With each level advance, you are awarded one Farm Cash as a bonus, up until you reach level 100.
4)Look for free Farm Cash offers from Zynga, the makers of "FarmVille": While playing Farmville, you may see a banner at the top of your screen that offers you the chance to download a "FarmVille" toolbar.
Click on this offer and download the toolbar to receive a Farm Cash bonus, which has ranged from 10 Farm Cash to 25 Farm Cash. This is a sporadic offer, so it is important to watch for it as you play. When you have downloaded the toolbar, the Farm Cash will appear in your gift box, and you must click "Use" to add it to your balance.
5)Visit the Farm Cash offers screen (see Resources). This screen can be accessed while playing "FarmVille: Click on "Get Farm Cash" on the left side of the screen (or at the top of the screen if you are playing on Farmville.com) to load a new screen which will offer Farm Cash in exchange for real currency.
6)Scroll all the way to the bottom of the "FarmVille" screen offering Farm Cash in exchange for currency until you see the Farm Cash offers. These offers will vary depending upon the time you access them. The Farm Cash offers page gives Farm Cash in exchange for certain purchases. For example, if you enroll in Netflix, you can earn Farm Cash as a bonus (as of December 2010.)
Some Farm Cash offers may not require a purchase, but require participation on a specific website. Read all the current Farm Cash offers to see if any of them interest you.
