The haunted house is a special building released by "FarmVille" in conjunction with the Halloween holiday. The three-story house is dark gray with a blue roof, shattered windows and spikes on the turrets and roof. It has a large front porch and many gables, and is surrounded by flying bats. "FarmVille" initially experienced glitches with the haunted house when it was released and recalled it temporarily to work out the bugs. "FarmVille" players expressed frustration at the delay. The house is built in three levels, requiring the accumulation of certain materials.
Instructions:
1) Log in to "FarmVille." Go to your gift box. The haunted house frame will be there; select it by clicking "Use," then place on your farm in your desired location. The haunted house is movable, so you will be able to place it again later if you so desire. When you initially place the haunted house, it will appear only as a frame, not as a fully constructed house. It will remain as a frame until you have completely built it. The haunted house has a 3.5-block-by-2-block footprint, so make sure you have plenty of room on your farm to place the house.
2) Collect the necessary objects to complete the house. There are three building levels for the haunted house. To achieve Level 1 (Eerie) you will need to gather eight bricks, nails and boards. To achieve Level 2 (Frightening) you will need to collect 10 bricks, nails and boards, and for Level 3 (Spine-Chilling) you need 12 of each.
Building materials can be gifted by neighbors or purchased in the market. To purchase in the market, open the market and click on the "Buildings" tab. Each individual piece of building material costs one "FarmVille" cash, and gains the buyer one experience.
3) Harvest your haunted house daily to earn candy that will go into your Halloween Candy Basket. Level 1 constructed haunted houses earn one piece of candy, Level 2 earns two and Level 3 earns three pieces of candy. Candy is also gathered from visiting neighbors. The more candy you gather, the more (and better) prizes you will be able to trade it in for, so harvest your house daily and try to complete it as quickly as possible to maximize your candy earnings.
