Launched in June 2009, Farmville (FV) has seen significant growth in the number of players. In October 2010 Facebook and Zynga reported that Farmville had over 56 million (yes, that's million) active players. Wow, that sure is a lot of Farmville Farmers from around the globe!

1) Delete the plowed, harvested or planted land around your Farmville character when Farmville loads. Your Farmville character will always be found at the center of the farm.
2) Click the Farmville Market tab. Choose enough decoration to surround your farmer. Hay bales are an inexpensive choice. Now your character can't move beyond the limits you've set up.
3) Start harvesting! Your character is no longer able to walk around as you are harvesting your farm. This will speed harvesting time up dramatically and cut down on the boredom of waiting until your Farmville character has finished her harvesting duties.
