To raise land in FarmVille, you must either increase your neighbors and Farm Coins or use Farm Cash. FarmVille farmers begin with 12-by-12 areas of land. A farmer can become eligible to purchase the 14-by-14 land area with Farm Coins after she acquires eight neighbors and 10,000 Farm Coins or has 20 Farm Cash in her inventory.
Instructions:
Add Neighbors
1) Click on the add neighbors button. This will show you all of you friends on Facebook who play FarmVille. Click the add button. If your friend's name is "Sam," then the button to click will read "Add Sam as Neighbor." Sam will receive an invite on his FarmVille screen. If Sam accepts the invite, you will see his name, image and statistics at the bottom of your FarmVille game screen.
2) Click the "Invite Friends" button to see your Facebook friends who do not have FarmVille accounts. Click the photos of the friends you would like to invite. Click one or more to highlight their images. Click blue "Invite" button under the highlighted images to send highlighted friends an invitation. If friends accept, they will automatically be added as your FarmVille neighbors.
3) Locate the rectangular field titled, "Invite By E-mail Address," between the pictures of your friends and the blue invite button. Type the addresses of people who either do not have Facebook accounts are not your Facebook friends yet. Those people will receive invitations to join you on Facebook and can become your FarmVille neighbors.
Use Farm Coins or Farm Cash to Raise Land
1) Click on the plow tool. The cursor will change a square shaped area selector. Scroll the square over your fields. When the cursor turns green you can click again, and that land will be plowed.
2) Scroll over plowed land. Your cursor will say, "Click to plant." Click to open the market (seeds) window displaying choices such as strawberries or soybeans. Choose the crop you want to plant by clicking the "Buy" button. The square you plowed will be planted with that crop. Continue clicking other plowed squares to continue planting that crop.
3) Scroll over planted squares to see the growth status of crops. When the status shows "Ready to harvest," click on it and Farm Coins will be added to your inventory. To raise your land to the 14-by-14 area, you will need 10,000 Farm Coins and eight neighbors. To raise your land to the 16-by-16 area, you will need 25,000 Farm Coins and 10 neighbors. To raise your land to the 18-by-18 area, you will need 50,000 Farm Coins and 13 neighbors.To raise your land to the 20-by-20 area, you will need 75,000 Farm Coins and 16 neighbors.To raise your land to the 22-by-22 area, you will need 250,000 Farm Coins and 20 neighbors. To raise your land to the 24-by-24 area, you will need 500,000 Farm Coins and 30 neighbors.
4) Click the "Get Farm Cash" button. Choose how much you want to purchase under "Select Package." Click "Continue," and choose either the PayPal, credit card or debit card method of payment. To use Farm Cash to raise your land area to the first expansion of 14-by-14, you will need 20 Farm Cash. To raise your land area to16-by-16, 18-by-18 or 20-by-20, also requires 20 Farm Cash.
The 22-by-22 land area increase requires 30 Farm Cash, and the 24-by-24 land area will cost 60 Farm Cash.
Tips & Warnings
You can also raise Farm Coins by harvesting trees and rearing animals. If you have a payment method registered with Facebook, real money will be withdrawn from your account if click "Buy FarmCash!"
